red

A friend of mine asked me to draw this camera that was a favorite of his. I decided to have a bit more fun and paint it instead. It actually looks like a print in this photo.
(Sorry for the quality!)
I started out by drawing it out on a piece of bond paper and then traced it onto a painted red canvas with white transfer paper. Afterwards I painted over the entire thing with white acrylic paint.

I've actually done more than one piece of artwork recently. I'll just go take some photographs and post them in a quickie. Promise.

side-dish of love

Valentine's Day is coming up soon and I am just so excited.

Ever since I was little my mom would always make it a point to give my sisters and I valentines presents. No matter how small.
I'd find valentines in my lunch box with a heart shaped sandwich, my chewing gum stick would have the cutest wrapper. Even my lollipops had sleeves with reminders that I'm loved. And knowing what a good feeling one can get from that I've kept up the tradition.
(I'm not married-I'm only 19 folks!-so I just have to practice on my friends.)

While browsing the net for ideas I came across these! They're by Mr.Printables. They are super easy to make and they make me smile. Try them out for yourselves.

I'm stuck on a verse / I'm stuck on a boy who fills me with joy

I have a confession. Sometimes, I swear, I think I might be singlehandedly buying all the nail polish in the Philippines.
Despite this however I have some suggestions on what to do with the all the almost empty bottles of nail polish I know you have in your cupboards and such.

1. Buy a bottle of nail solvent.
That is it. Nail solvent. It's a life saver.
I recently found some half empty bottles of nail polishes I wasn't quite ready to let go of yet. So here is what I did:

I mixed them.

And they turned a most wonderful shade. Totally delectable and appetizing (Not that I would eat it.).

 TA - DA!

Also, in more recent news, I have an idea of what to give my dad for Christmas.
And guess what? It doesn't involve socks, handkerchiefs or golf magazine subscriptions.
Yay me!

Au Revoir Simone.

Yes, Au Revoir. For now at least. I'm off to enjoy a slice of cake.
Chocolate, I might add.
