you won't talk me into it next time / if I'm going away your hearts coming too

I'm addicted. I swear, I'm going to cover everything in a layer of paint and decoupage it to the death.

Here is how my day went so far:

I painted my box a great shade of orange.
(Related post: Clock Decoupage)

And then I took a break and had a very nutritious breakfast.

I'm kidding.
Hehe. I had some cereal. AND THEN I had my nutritious breakfast.

See?
It tasted great.

This is my box after a coat of paint.
My mom insisted I put an old newspaper underneath my workspace to avoid getting any paint or glitter on the table. It was part of the Sunday comics.

I'm sure you've already noticed my love for food. I clearly had a chocolate filled day.
But really, who wouldn't want to stuff themselves with all this goodness?

These things are just so addicting! Plus, they bring back great childhood memories.

Here's my box all done up! I put dots of glitter to make it sparkle.
Also, I managed to do everything without ruining my manicure. I think that's the greatest feat of  all.

I'm also on a trailer watching spree and I'm itching to watch this.

It looks great.

old friend why are you so shy / ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light

I woke up late today and had lunch at around 2:00 p.m. However I did get somethings done despite the late head start.
I'm finishing up an order of felt bow necklaces that are really quite adorable.

This is my Project Box full of the materials that I'll be needing for this order.
(See my patent blue toes?)

Here are some bows all sewn up.

Some ball/chain. I actually have no idea what it is called.

This is what the finished product looks like.
I'm making red bow with silver chain and black bows with gold stitching and a darker colored chain. I'm finished sewing all of the red bows and have so far made two black ones. I hope to be done by the end of this week, so I can start my other projects.

Elle and I stumbled upon a book sale yesterday and found these ponderous postcards. Some of them are terribly sad. Lemony Snicket does have a way of depressing you to no end. Nevertheless, they were to good to leave on the table.

I'm going to send this to Singapore soon. I just have to find some time to make it to the post office.

I would love to have this Positive Energy Rug by Dan Golden for Odegard
It would brighten up a lot of things, don't you suppose?

there's a fire starting in my heart / reaching a fever pitch and it's bring me out the dark

This week Elle, Sam and I received the cutest package.

This is mine and Elles.

He're is a close up:

A Cookie Pin
Some Cat Bookmarks
Colorful Postcards
Mustache
A Little Letter

All these little goodies are from none other than Ms. Stella.
Isn't it just full of loveliness?

This week I made a clock. Actually, I made most of a clock. So this post will have a continuation.
I found some unpainted wooden clocks about a month ago when my Mom, Elle and I were cleaning out the storage. And now I finally decided on how to decorate it. Since I couldn't think of anything in particular to paint I decided to decoupage.

Theme: Fashion
Color: Grey

Step One:

Paint your clock! (I picked a neutral shade)

Step Two:

Find some pictures you would like to use. (I used the magazines as seen. Elle, Teen Vogue and Nylon magazine.)

Step Three:

Photocopy the pictures you'll be using. ( I didn't want to cut out of the magazines so instead I photocopied my favorite images. Though I did get a few colorful ones to add as well.

Step Four:

Have the following things ready:
1. Glue
2. Paint
3. Varnish
4. A Brush

Now wouldn't you like to know how it all turned out!

Adele is simply fabulous.

Rolling In The Deep is one of the best revenge songs ever.
Who knew revenge could be so classy?
