White nights.

I'd just like you all to know that i'll be fixing up my site for the next few weeks. So as stagnant as the water may seem on the surface, things are defiantly brewing underneath.
Drawings are being drawn, songs are being sung and link are being fixed and made.
I'll try as much as possible to post as often as I can, but no promises for now. It's all very vague.

However, in the meantime, you really should check out these sweet things.

What just might be the best scarf ever. (I haven't lived very long yet, my darlings so you might disagree.)

Please be mine PrettyPenny?

Last Saturday my friend "the uber awesome Dave" gave me the prettiest vintage owl ring ever. I am wearing it now as I type. I think you would agree it's rad.

Isn't a beauty?

Late last night the Teaspoon's newest cover video came out!

Hanging out by Seed's pool and having the amazeball Lois & Clarissa film us! Whoo.

And wonder of wonders, Pink Teacup was featured in The Upcoming's newest article!
Oh, it's all such fun.

Up all night.

The other day I was looking for box template when I stumbled upon this magical place. It's called the PaperMuseum and I think it's the best thing I've seen all week. The Paper Museum is a Japanese site featuring free downloadable paper doll houses. Now, fact: I love doll houses. No matter how many layers of black clothing I wear, or the loads of eyeliner I put on, even the amount of jewelry I buy that is sure to be black and covered with massive amounts of chain, I will always love doll houses. Doll houses, paper dolls, you name it.
I'm a little girl at heart.

Remember growing up stealing sheets of bond paper and drawing your dream houses? This kind of takes 8 year old dreams to a different level. Who doesn't love something paper but, 3D?

It has everything you could possibly want or need!

A cake shop?
Yes, please.
Looks like I'm going to up all night. I've got a house to assemble!

crinkles. goodness covered in sweet snow.

So, I'm thinking I should probably stop saying "I'm back" just in case I tire you all out. In the meantime just a little filling in is in order I suppose. As you all know, V-day is coming up and I have got some orders to do. I have some Valentines Day drawings to finish up.
AND a whole bunch of other things.

Here's a sneak peak of one of the things I'm supposed to be finishing up:

Cute right? If you check out pinkteacupshoppe tomorrow you can take a look at how I incorporated it into our Freebie Friday. Side-note: I love pen pressure on Photoshop.

Also, last Sunday I gave away chocolate lollipops just for the heck of it. Take a look:

If you are as in love with these delish babies right now you can also go here to order some for your beloved(s) this Valentines day. Who doesn't have a sweet tooth when it comes to a sweet holiday?

Also, my little sister Sam, she runs the littleshow, has been featured in Total Girl for February issue! Such fun.

Last but not least, Pink Teacup Vintage has finally been re-stocked, so if you feel a n itch to go shopping, head right over here to take a look at our rack.

Also, ever since I've gotten a copy of John Mayer's albums I've simple can't stop listening to a select few.

What's coming out of your headphones?

when did your sparkle turn to fire / and your warmth become desire

Sundays:

The boys playing Tap of War. George (right) has magic fingers. You don't even see them move.
(Dave. I will beat you in Tap of War. Just you wait and see.)

Dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. I'm pretty sure I won't need to eat for several days. A week at the very least. Their servings are insane.
Me and my grandfather dressed in black. He was wearing the leather jacket my mom purchased for him more than ten years ago. Don't we look great?

And for those who don't know, I cut my hair.
Again.
Only shorter than before.

And my aunt bought me and my sister a whole bunch of sour tape and worms. I'm going to have a tooth ache, I just know it.

It's been a good week.

just show them what I choose / got nothing to lose

For those of you that didn't know or simply we're able to stop by Pink Teacup Shoppe joined the Brown Bag Bazaar just last week! Here are a few picture from that day.
To be honest the day didn't start out so great. The skies we're grey and it began drizzling on our way there. But, we managed to get everything set up and got help from our friends Andrea and Joe. Afterwards we headed off to 7 eleven for some big gulps and hotdogs.

We had a Bauble Bar. The point was for a cheap flat price you could create your very own arm party. See the inspiration board I created in the back?

Some necklace sets and stickies I made!

(Joe, Andrea & I)
Crossing Ayala Triangle to go get some food.

Clearly too busy eating to talk.

Plus, Elle gave a papercut demo giving lots of  paper-cutting tips!

stuck in her daydream / been this way since 18

Two weeks ago I celebrated my 18th birthday. Nothing fancy, just some midnight cake with a bunch of friends and an episode of New Girl (which is excellent, by the way).

Joe snapped this photo of me and my cake at least three times before we could get a good one.

(Gail, Hans, Me, Luis, Joe and Jenny)
After the candles were blown Elle took a picture of me with everybody else.

Making music. Every night needs some Mayer songs to be sung.

Hans enjoying my little sister's uke.

This is me and the uber awesome Dave. We decided to create a ritual. Every Sunday we see each other we bring things we can swap. So, this was our first.
The feathered black jacket was his and as you can guess the army green jacket was mine. We attempted to switch shoes as well, but mine were much too tiny for his feet. Shame, I really longed to wear his DCs.

Bet you can't wait to see what else we'll be swapping!

it's been a while

December 3 has come and gone.
I'm starting this Christmas as an 18 year old and to be honest it doesn't feel any different.
Except, except for the fact that I know I can drive a car without an adult in the passenger's seat.
Not that I can drive. So, just a thought.

I'll  be posting birthday pictures soon. The picture above is me with my three layer PINK caramel cake.
Sweet, i know.

I just opened my email to find a letter telling me to create a wishlist with the things I want to have this Christmas from UNESTABLISH. So, here goes!

I have a serious confession to make: bags make me happy. Mostly cause they carry my life inside them. Fashionably.
As for guys t-shirts, I do prefer them over girls t-shirts. The fit is much more dependable. And the slouch it creates makes me a fan. It's great to tuck into skirts or for a relaxed day. The multi-dimensional print on the front is quite great. As for dresses? Well, who doesn't love them?

Miranda July's "A Handy Tip for the Easily Distracted"

I watched this video earlier in the day. Props to Miranda July. See has the solution for a person like me.
